New Beginnings

My first blog came into existence two or three years ago, and got no followers, except for my aunts and father. So I started a new blog, which didn't quite work out either. So, fuelled by my Marx-esque idea of Blogspotism, I made a third one. And this time, I had an idea. I would go to various blogs and tell other Blogspot-users about all my ideas and projects. And in less than three hours, I had my first follower: MeshWeaver.
Since then, I've aquired various Internet friends, which include SSImpossible, SusySpider, DS-DNA, and, of course, the ever-loyal Hester, who visits my blog even when I haven't posted for months, let alone commented on his.
Last year, the time of the year came around again that we Catholics call Lent. Lent is a time for giving up what we love, and doing selfless sacrifices. So I decided to give up Blogspot, which really killed me, because I could feel my relationship with my followers slowly slipping through my fingers. But, before Lent had officially begun, I commented on al my followers' blogs, telling them I couldn't talk until Easter, save for Saint Patrick's Day. And they all told me it was okay. But when I got back to them on Easter, SSImpossible had set up a Web site, and had abandonded blogging, MeshWeaver was doing some kind of big secret project and couldn't be bothered to post, SusySpider had removed her "Add Comment" button and was counting down to something, and the only person who still posted was–is–Hester!
So, I would like to inform Hester, and anyone else who might have had a change of heart, that I'm moving. Not in the physical sense, where I pack up my bags and leave, but in the figuartive sense, to a place called Natron V2, which you can locate at http://natronvtwo.blogspot.com/ . This blog will not be a failure, and, even though I will continue to give up Blogspot for Lent, I hope that my new followers will not leave me during that time, as (almost) all of you did. And I hope that Hester will come and join my new blog, as he is the only one who has remained loyal to me.
So, I bid you So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Wedding!

Last night was the weirdest night of my life!    A few months ago, I was passing messages via a wipe board and my little sister to my older sister when we were supposed to be doing schoolwork. She wrote "I can't wait for August 5th!" A few minutes later, I wrote, "What's August 5th?" She replied, "The wedding!"
The wedding in question was the one for her two friends whom I had never formally met. I asked her, "Am I invited?" and she answered, "No. Weddings are too mushy for boys."
So I accepted that. But as we drew closer to the big day, I began to wonder if I really wasn't invited, especially when the groom's mother e-mailed me and asked if I wanted to be a caterer at the reception. I said that I would, and I found out later that my older sister would be helping, too.
Yesterday morning was the wedding. It was very beautiful, and I would have been thinking hard about marriage and love and whatnot, had I not been helping in the kitchen (which I'm not complaining about).
When I got out and into the party, I asked my friend if she wanted to dance, and she replied, "Nah. You're too tall." I was fine with that, until everyone kept coming up to me and saying, "Will you dance with her? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease?"
That's when things started to get weird. They played "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz and "Good Night" by the Black Eyed peas. One of my friends kept grabbing my brother around the neck and punching him in the gut, while some girl I had never met kept telling me that I "looked like a garlic bagel," and this random bridesmaid who I had never met before in my life came up to my friend and tried to convice her to dance with me.
It was all very weird. And although I woke up this morning with a Mtn. Dew hangover, it was one of the most fun nights of my life, and the best one I've had all year.

iBlender?

Last September, my family and I went on a vacation to Arizona, California, Utah, Nevada, and finally back to Las Vegas. My aunt was with us for most of the trip, and she had brought along her new iPhone 4. She let us play games on it, and use the Internet. The thing I was wondering was: Could you get Blender on an iPhone?
A few weeks ago, my friend came over to my house to show me his new iPad 2. I once again wondered what Blender would be like if there was an app for it.
I understand that hundreds of young men and women make thousands of dollars each year creating apps and selling them to Apple. So if a Blenderhead somewhere possessed the know-how to create an app, and had a way of contacting the Blender company, iBlender could become a reality.

Hi again.

I commented on everyone's blogs back in March, saying that since I was Catholic that I wouldn't be posting on my blog or commenting on others' for a while because of Lent, but then after Lent, I saw that Ben (SSImpossible) had left our little circle of friends...and no one else was commenting on anyone else's blog or posting on their own! WTH? My only friend who's been commenting is Hester over here! MeshWeaver's doing some secret project, and SusySpider is counting down to something and has disabled her "Leave comment" option! And I go to all this trouble to write these movie reviews which were NOT copied off Wikipedia or IMDb, and no one comments on them! Again, WTH???

Just kidding. I'm sure all of you have a good explanation...........and if you're surfing the Web, check out my new cryptid Website at http://www.cryptidinfo.moonfruit.com/ It's awesome. No, really, it is. No, really.

Ouch!

Okay, I was at the Annual Pirate Rendezvous in Damriscotta with my dad's Sea Scout Ship, and I was dressed like a pirate complete with rapier and hatchet tucked in my belt. I was practicing with the rapier and I dropped it. When I leaned down to pick it up, I scraped my hand across the blade of the hatchet. Luckily, one of the Sea Scout leaders took me to the hospitle, where I got six-count 'em-six stiches in my hand. It's all bandaged up now, and just about the only thing I can do with it is type. Of course, I've always wanted to train myself to be ambidextrous, so I guess now's my golden opportunity!

I'm still here!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I've been kind of busy, finishing out the school year, and all that. Also, I've just discovered Facebook®, so I've been pretty wrapped up in that, too.

I love Planet of the Apes! Just wanted to say that. Okay. Bye.
